“2021 marks another monumental year for Amerifiber,” said Jim Leeman, Founder/CEO, Amerifiber. “Keeping a laser focus on the growing demand for fiber assemblies and helping narrow the digital divide has resulted in several large-scale deployments and significant revenue increases. At the same time, we continue reinvesting in our team and products to stay ahead of the technology curve and provide tailored solutions which closely match our customers evolving needs.”

In February Amerifiber launched Ameri-Armor, a new line of pre-terminated fiber optic assemblies and jumpers that are built with a coiled steel armored tube. This latest product offering combats the issues plaguing fiber optic installations worldwide with an innovative design that makes it crush resistant and less susceptible to damage caused by rodents, harsh environments, weather, and abrasive installations.

With a jacket as small as 2.0mm, Ameri-Armor cables are 65% smaller than AIA cables, making them a low-profile installation option with higher fiber density. This helps to prevent clutter and excessive pileup while making routing easier and more affordable.

Additionally, in July 2020, Amerifiber joined the premier broadband telecommunications solutions provider INDATEL as a Supplier Affiliate Member. INDATEL has a proven track record for servicing rural and urban communities by delivering reliable broadband connectivity through fiber optic network routes across the United States.

“The pandemic has catapulted the need for Fiber-to-the-home products, and we see this demand increasing exponentially this year,” commented Tim Leeman, General Manager, Amerifiber. “Our foray into previously untapped markets and industries in 2020 has propelled Amerifiber into high-gear and we are now seeing our American manufactured products being used across a broad set of public, academic, and private data environments.”

Amerifiber will be announcing product launches in the coming months, along with significant new industry partnerships.
